Help Katie & Phil Overcome Health Battles

We are the Gregorys, raising money for our dear friends Katie and Phil. They have always been there for us and for anyone they cross paths with. At the beginning of last year, Phil started having some heart issues. After multiple hospital stays and trips to the Cleveland Clinic, the diagnosis is Heart Failure and this fall he will be put on a transplant list. (I know, I am as shocked as you are to find out Phil has a heart, but apparently, he does.) During this process, it has taken a toll on the family as they had to use all their sick time and any leave they had from work to make all the appointments and hospital stays.

Well, I wish I was done with the story. This last time, Phil had a heart attack and that's when the transplant talk came about. A few weeks after this, Katie received the devastating news that she has stage 2 invasive ductal cell carcinoma breast cancer. Not only is this mentally affecting their lives but since all sick time was used already, it's financially affecting their lives. The money raised will help with medical bills and help with other things since all the sick time is gone so they will not be getting paid while all the surgeries, chemo, and recoveries are happening. This is where the Gregorys' are asking for help, not them but we are personally asking for us to rally and offer assistance from their friends and the community they have served all their lives as a firefighter and dispatchers.
