Help Katina Beat Cancer - Support Her Life-Saving Treatment

On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, Katina Hamilton (nee Benis) was diagnosed with stage 4 GBM, the most aggressive and serious type of brain tumour. Due to the urgency of her condition, she underwent surgery the very next day, with an initial prognosis of just 5 to 17 months. Katina still has a long healing journey ahead of her.

Katina and her husband, Allan, have since pursued both modern medicine and alternative treatments, which have proven to be effective thus far. Katina's path to recovery has come with overwhelming costs. As Allan became her full-time caregiver, they were both unable to work and had to sell their home to fund her treatment. The proceeds have covered Katina’s regular oncology treatments, frequent interstate travel for her appointments, accommodation, car hire, and essential medications.
