Help Katy With Expenses After Car Accident

Hello Everyone. I'm starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear friend, Katy Hickam, who is always the first to help someone in need. She is the founder of a non-profit in Northeast Tennessee that has provided Christmas to local families for over a decade and regularly provides feminine hygiene supplies to women and teens as well as local schools. Now, she is in need of help herself.
Katy was involved in a serious car accident in Columbia, SC this morning on her way to Florida. She is currently in the hospital in Columbia (3 hours away from home) with a broken back, a broken hand and other injuries. I do not know what the prognosis or treatment plan is at the moment but I will update when I do.
Being stuck in a hospital away from home, the last things Katy needs to be worrying about are the medical expenses she's incurring and how she's going to be able to pay her bills while she's out of work recovering.
