A 100-year flood event destroyed our home. Kayla and I got out with our dog, Banjo, and our cat, Kaia, and the clothes on our backs. I never imagined that floodwaters could rise so fast! Fortunately, we do have good friends that could take us in for the night. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. We have God and each other, a great church, and community. We just need a lot of help right now.
