Help Kayla Shine at State Competition - Talent Galore!

My name is Bill and I’m the grandfather of Kayla. She is truly a bright spark in my life, and the light in the life of anyone who has ever met her.

She is a member of Milton High Schools International Thespian Society and recently competes in District competition acting in a play named “Queens” that was about the lives of Henry the 8th’s many wives. They placed well and earned a trip to the State competition in Tallahassee. She needs help covering travel expenses as well as food, hotels, and the fees for the state competition.

The state festival is an amazing opportunity for students in theatre, and it is more than just a competition. There will be MainStage productions of other shows, workshops with guest speakers to help us improve upon our skills, and tons of other events. This is a great experience and anything will help!

She is so lucky to have her theatre community and would not be where she is today without them helping her out of her shell, and any effort and support her be appreciated.

Normally she can come to me for anything but I’m not in a position to help at this time. Please know that this child is on the A/B honor roll and has enormous potential. She has applied to jobs however nobody is hiring minors until the summer time. Her and her mother have participated in fundraising events but it hasn’t been enough.

UPDATE: I was erroneous.   This competition will be held in sunny Tampa, Florida.  They will be gone for five days and four nights.   I personally like that section of Florida, very temporary climate, but the traffic is terrible.
