Help Kayla with medical bills & expenses

As some of you may know, my friend Kayla Hodson has been working with Nick Fuller and I part time this year & then full time the last few weeks. She started working construction due to covid & has quit bar tendering since. She’s been a great help to us, a great person to work with, & a bad ass worker most of the time. She hasn’t been scared of doing things, even sometimes when me & Nick are! We’ve been friends for a number of years, & she is like another daughter to me.

Today after finishing work, she hurried home to cook food for Thanksgiving, for her extended families in Lewiston & Princeton. She was in such a hurry that she didn’t notice a big patch of ice on the sidewalk of her apartments. She hit the ice & slipped, breaking her right ankle and tearing a ligament. She is having surgery at 8am on Thanksgiving, instead of spending time with family & friends. Total recovery time is 10 to 12 weeks! She drives a stick shift, lives in a second-floor apartment and works construction.

She’s going to need to pay her deductible, help pay rent, food, etc. She has Apple Care with a $3500 deductible. I’m sure there are other things that I am forgetting, but you get the picture. I know times are tough for many of us, it’s been a rough year for many. It would be greatly appreciated if her friends, family or anyone with means could donate whatever they are able, to help her out at this time.

As anyone who knows her, she is a great person, had a cancer scare awhile back, has a beautiful 11-year-old daughter, & she is a badass. She will probably cuss me out for doing this, but I am just trying to help my friend! So please give if you can!
