Help Kayla's Family Overcome Health Crisis

Hi, my name is Kayla and my husband Tyler has come across some serious health problems in the last year or so. When he was able to work and had insurance, we were starting to get somewhere with getting to the bottom of his health issues. Recently, he has not been able to work because of his condition and has since lost his health insurance. We have finally hit rock bottom yesterday and I can no longer let my pride get in the way of asking for help. We went to the ER for the dozenth time and this time instead of blaming his chronic vomiting, 60 lb weight loss, severe dehydration, sweat and chills, complete delirium, intense stomach and chest pain, and constant loss of consciousness on his gastritis and hiatal hernia, they have diagnosed him with cyclic vomiting syndrome (CVS). Basically unexplained routine vomiting. When I asked the doctor, “So that’s your diagnosis?” She responded with “Ma’am, this is an ER. We handle emergencies, his emergency is handled, even if it’s temporary. It could be diabetic related as well, but you’ll have to follow up with primary care to get to the bottom of anything.” Not to mention the nursing staff that said to my pale, lethargic, unconscious husband as he lied on the concrete after fainting walking into the ER, “come on man, you gotta get yourself up. We’re not going to help you stand up.” The treatment we received at Piedmont Newton hospital was heartbreaking, and I do not intend on settling for that diagnosis. I am going to get him more testing and the treatment he deserves, but I need help in funding without health insurance. So I ask humbly, if you have anything to spare, please help me get my husband back on his feet not just for him, but for our 3 children as well. Anything is greatly appreciated.
