Help Widower, Kaz, Rebuild After Marshall Fire

My name is Allie Reuter. I am writing on behalf of my 72 year old neighbor, Kaz. Just down the street from my parents in Superior, CO, Kaz lost his home in the Marshall Fire. He is a widower who lost his wife to cancer a few years ago. Further, Kaz is under insured and is trying to navigate the situation the best he can. 

 

Kaz was terrified when he got a call to leave and left his home with only the clothes on his back. He called my mom and broke down on the phone asking her what he should do. He is understandably overwhelmed by the situation. He will be staying with my parents for the time being, but I believe that he is an example of someone that would greatly benefit from monetary assistance from the community to be able to re-create the home he once had in Superior.
