Help Keanu Fight His Biggest Battle Yet!

Hi, my name is Maura Mulkerron (Beaton) and I’m fundraising for my incredible 16-year-old son, Keanu Vallette. Keanu is currently facing the toughest fight of his life after being diagnosed with Nutcracker Syndrome and Renal Vein Thrombosis, two rare and painful conditions. He’s in the hospital receiving care hours away from home, and our family is doing everything we can to support him—but we can’t do it alone.

Keanu has always been a fighter. He had a stroke shortly after birth and lives with left-sided hemi-paresis Cerebral Palsy. Despite this, he has persevered with remarkable resilience. He’s outgoing, kind, and has a magnetic personality that lights up every room. He has dreams of getting back to what he loves most—running Cross Country and track, working, and returning to school. But first, he has a long and difficult road to recovery.

Right now, we are raising funds to help cover:

• Gas for hospital visits (2.5 hours each way)

• Loss of income while Mom cares for Keanu and sister Shauna cares for her special needs brother Noah

• Rent and utilities to keep our apartment—a safe haven after surviving long-term domestic violence

• Everyday needs like food and essentials while we stay focused on Keanu’s care
