Help Keep Conspire Afloat

Hi! This is JD, and Conspire is my baby...my art project, my community, and my way of healing the parts of the world that I can, as a nonbinary person and a bit of an outsider. Conspire is both a community center and a business. We represent over 100 artists from around the Midwest- and a few outliers- with a focus on our local community and LGBTQ+ artists and makers here in Putnam County, Indiana.

Conspire is a place where LGBTQ+ youth who need a place to be their sparkly selves can feel at home. It's a place for everyone who feels a bit other in a conservative state and town. It's a place where a person in need can get something to eat, and some care, without judgment or strings attached. It's a place we need.

We've worked hard for seven years to keep this shop and vision afloat. We made it through Covid with support from our local community and from people around the country who love Conspire. Now we're hitting a rough patch again with prolonged construction keeping visitors away from Greencastle. We're hoping to build a small war chest to get us through until the downtown stabilizes.

If you have $5 or $500 to give to keep this special space alive, it will really help. We will pay it back to people who need it for as long as we can.
