Help Keep the Doragon Ramen Dream Alive

My dream was to always be a Chef and own a restaurant. I had just recently met the man of my dreams who shared my passion for food and also always wanted to run a restaurant. With the help of our friend Mayra with Mexico City we were given the opportunity to open a restaurant together. The restaurant was an instant success, but unfortunately we opened just a few months before Covid landed.
During Covid we struggled, we remained open and kept our staff employees and taken care of!
With the exception of one round of PPP we received no assistance from the government but we were allowed to defer sales tax during the emergency. This immediately became due in full when the governor ended the state of emergency.
We tried using a predatory high repayment loan through our POS provider but this has crippled the restaurants cash flow.
Paponake and I believe in no one goes hungry, we have always had a 0 questions asked policy for anyone who couldn’t afford or needed food. Being able to support the community as a business is one of the greatest rewards of owning our own business!
We are now asking for assistance to help with some critical bills to keep the restaurant open like our gas/electric bill as well as critical repairs that need to be made.
Anyone who is able to donate and help us keep the restaurant open will be invited to a Special Chefs Dinner prepared by Chefs & husbands Paponake and Alan MacIntosh
