Huffs family restaurant has been in Long Beach for 65 years. It’s been a family oriented eating establishment. Huffs is a Long Beach icon.
The current owner Gayle, has owned Huffs for 25 years. She’s believes in old values of family dining. The employees are focused on customer service and making sure everyone is happy. Huffs customers are treated like family. As Gayle would say “they’re not just customers, they’re friends” The employees and Gayle take time to get to know their customers…”they become family”.
On Wednesday, February 17, Gayle had to close her doors for good, due to Covid restrictions and being closed for a year, especially when there was no indoor or outdoor dining she struggled to stay open.
She hung on as long as possible. We are trying to raise as much money as we can to reopen Huffs for Gayle and the community. This is her business, it’s what she lives for. Pleasing so many people. Not only families eat at Huffs, but a majority of our elderly stop in for meals and friendly service.
