Dear Amazing CHI WOW WAH Family,

In the wake of last weekend's unforgettable journey, we are sending out waves of gratitude to you all.

THANK YOU for making this year's CHI WOW WAH TOWN so incredible. For us it is more than just a festival; it is a joyful homecoming and a precious opportunity to reset. It is a place where magic happens.

Your warmth, energy and vibrant spirit turned the Winton Wetlands into a haven of connection, wonder, unity and joy. You brought the Chi, the Wow, and the Wah in spades - we felt it flowing through that beautiful land.

You all felt the magic right? 

This magic was no accident. It was sparked by your incredible vibes and fuelled by many hands working tirelessly together. Everyone who showed up, helped create memories that will last a lifetime.

We acknowledge the dedication of our team of heroes (see list bellow) and every person who contributed time, love and skill to make CHI WOW WAH TOWN so special. From the wetlands team to our neighbours, from builders and managers to DJs and artists, from our safety team to our environmental warriors, this festival is a testament to what humans can achieve when they dream, cooperate and work together.

We care deeply about putting on meaningful events that offer sanctuary, spark joy, and build community. It takes an entire village to build our town. We have built such a beautiful community over the years and we truly hope to keep the fire burning for years to come.

And this is where we need your help.

We are sorry to share that beneath the energetic success of the event we are facing a significant financial shortfall.

The reality is we didn't sell enough tickets to meet budget expectations. In the lead up to the event, we did everything we could to reduce costs, but despite rigorous budget cuts and exhaustive team efforts, we are unhappily unable to pay everyone for their total efforts. Our experience is similar to that of other events globally, but we honestly didn’t expect this much of a gap.

So now we stand at a crossroads, hoping this isn't our final event.

And while it’s hard to do so, we are swallowing our pride and reaching out to our tribe, to ask for support.

If CHI WOW WAH TOWN has touched your life, if it has reinvigorated your belief in the power of community, if you dream of more unforgettable weekends like the last, we humbly ask for your support.

Every contribution, no matter what size, brings us closer to ensuring that our shared dream can thrive for years to come. We want to ensure everyone is paid for their efforts and have no other choice but to call on community at this point.
