For 30 years, Sakura has been a staple in Saint Paul and the owner, Miyoko was part of bringing authentic Japanese food to the Twin Cities. As friends of Sakura, we would hate to lose this iconic restaurant due to this unfortunate pandemic, which has halted many of our lives. They are in dire need of help right now.
Like many others in the industry, Sakura is struggling mightily to stay afloat. They have had to cut down staff tremendously and as the days go by, with no dine-in, no bar sales, and delivery services taking 30% commission from sales, the bills become harder and harder to pay.
