Help Keep the Boylan family going for John
I want my family to not have to worry about keeping up on finances right now. Our home is the home of my childhood, and my dad worked hard for our family to have a forever home. Below you can read a little about John Boylan if you didn't have the privilege of knowing him. A little about the legend:
John Joseph Boylan, aged 72, passed away on December 9, 2024. John dedicated his life to his family and his faith, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
John served in the Navy in his early twenties, an experience that instilled in him a deep sense of discipline and community service. After his military service, he did various other work but ultimately ended up committing nearly 30 years to maintaining the Community Christian Church, where he also worshiped. His dedication to the church extended well beyond his official retirement, demonstrating his unwavering faith and commitment to serving others.
In addition to his professional and military service, John was a devoted family man, described as the best dad, husband, grandfather, mentor, and role model. He is survived by his loving wife, Joann; daughter, Brandie; grandchildren, John West, Sage Boylan, and Jayla Harris; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Jerry Bauer; and nieces, Alyson and Alyssa Magana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Leo Fisher; sister, Barbara Boylan; and numerous dear friends.
John's hobbies included various wood crafts, jigsaw puzzles, going shooting, and backyard bonfires. He cherished spending time with his family, always ready to crack a joke and make others laugh, truly enjoying life to the fullest.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Community Christian Church at 1pm on January 11th 2025. Following the service that are being held in the main sanctuary everyone who wishes to stay will gather outside where John will be recognized by the US Navy with a 21 gun salute and his wife Joann will be presented with a flag in appreciation for John's service. There will be food and celebration will continue. There is no set end time. We are just preparing the best we can.
