Help Keep Troy's Home

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Cook and Im a performing music artist. Ive been touring this great globe of ours for over 15 years. On this journey I have been so blessed to make some amazing fans. My very first, what I would call "super fan, appeared to me around 2001. As a regular on the Grand Ole Opry, Troys very most favorite song for me to sing was "Storms Never Last" by Jessi Colter. When I got my first big record deal with Warner Brothers, they started an online message board for me (cause thats what ya did back then!). Troy was a regular and led the charge. As I would play over the years in the NYC area, Troy and his sweet mother Dot would travel by bus or whatever they could afford to come seem me. Troy would thrift shop and send me cocktail dresses he would find for me to wear on the Opry. I knew Dot was widowed and they were on a fixed income, so all this always meant an extra lot to me. Troy has a lot of trauma and physical health problems but still managed to work part time and take care of his mom. He barely left her side until she passed on 11/3/2021. They were so close and dedicated to each other and they committed to face their struggles together as a fierce little family for as long as I have known them. Since Dots passing, Troy has not been able to keep up with the payments on the only home he has ever known. He is weeks away from facing eviction and has only a car, which also needs about $3000 worth of repairs. I am trying to raise $5000 for starters to help Troy get resituated during this time. Theres a lot of struggle and hurt in the world and I know it is impossible to save everyone. But I wanted to pick one thing and try and make a difference. As a 50th birthday gift I would love to recieve a donation for Troy, my longest running fan who like all my fans, has meant so much to me. Whether its $5 or $500 or more, it would be greatly, truly and deeply appreciated. I cannot stand the thought of Troy being homeless and adding to the population of the many we see living our streets today. And my sincere thank you for your time, consideration and hopeful donaton.
