Help Keeton Family- Ellie's Journey
Donation protected
** Update 1/17/22 Ellies mass came back cancer, the family will leave for St. Jude sometime this week. Yes, St. Judes pays for cancer treatment but everyday bills will still be adding up and the boys (Easton and Lane) will be staying with grandmother at this time. All funds will be beneficial but more importantly is all the PRAYERS. Thank you for the donations and the prayers. - Brooke
Hello, my name is Brooke and I am fundraising to help the Keeton family during this very difficult and stressful time. Ellie the youngest of the family was having stroke like symptoms. Half of her face was not responding to the rest of her face. Jessica called the pediatrician and they wanted to see them right away. Once they arrived they were asked to go to the hospital for an MRI and a Spinal Tap. The MRI showed a large mass with fluid building up around it. They were admitted to the PICU (pediatric intensive care unit) and the doctors began to run some more tests. The plan as of now is to remove the mass on Friday January 15th. Send it off for testing (they want to make sure it is not cancer). The recovery from brain surgery will be about 3 weeks. Derek is going to stay with his family and take a leave from work during these next couple of weeks. With all the uncertainty and the amount of stress this family is going through, I wanted to help with something. The last thing this family should have to worry about is how they are going to pay their bills. PLEASE consider donating to the family, it will mean more to them, than you will ever know and if you cannot donate please PRAY for them. The power of prayer can do more than any donation. Thank you for your consideration.

The pictures below are of Ellie before they arrived at the pediatricians office and then while they were waiting to be admitted. Then just some of her happier moments.
