Help Keith Blair Recover So He Can Play Again!

Hi, I’m Kay and I am fundraising for Keith Blair.

Keith, our brilliant guitarist, singer, songwriter, and loving son, brother, and friend to all, suffered a hemorrhagic (brain bleed) stroke a few weeks ago and needs your help!

After a week in the ICU he is currently in in-patient rehab working hard to regain proper function of his right side as he’s dealing with paralysis. The good news is that his cognitive and speech skills do not seem to be impaired. Though he is facing several mobility challenges, and the weight of knowing that he has a long recovery journey ahead of him, he’s very much the Keith that we know and love.

Keith is working hard to recover with daily physical therapy and rehab, which is making a difference, helping him make incremental progress every day. However, much of his current and future medical expenses are not covered by his insurance and his debts are mounting. At this time, he is unable to play guitar, therefore will be unable to make a living doing what he loves in the near term- although he’s working hard to grace the stage once again to burn one of his masterful blues solos and soulful vocal performances. As a world-class guitarist, Keith has always been a vital part of the musical community of South Louisiana and has always been willing to offer his musical talents when anyone needed support for a benefit. Now he needs YOUR help and would greatly appreciate any support you can offer.

This GoFundMe page is to support Keith’s recovery, getting therapy he needs as quickly as he needs it. The funds will go towards his immediate financial burdens including physical therapy, home equipment, medication, consultations, and medical treatments.

Keith’s life has very quickly been turned upside down, and he is doing all he can to make sure he comes out fighting even stronger than before. He just needs your support to get him there.
