I met Keith, 64, when he was living at Destination Hope, a Safe Parking Program in LA for people who live in their vehicles. A true gentleman, he always gave us the biggest smile & hug when we would come serve dinner.
A few months into the COVID-19 pandemic, Keith was able to secure temporary housing at Griffith Park Adult Community Center through the "Project Room Key" program. During this time, he secured a part time job at a fulfillment center, working the graveyard shift.
Unfortunately, after several mechanical issues, Keith's 93 Honda Accord tapped out. Due to the loss of his transportation, Keith also lost his job. He is in the process of renewing his commercial driver's license and is actively seeking work.
Any contribution towards a new mode of transportation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your kindness during this time.
