KEITH MAURO'S FIGHT AGAINST "ALS"

Keith Mauro is a father, a partner, and a friend to many.   He was recently diagnosed with ALS, known as "Lou Geurigs disease"

ALS  is a motor neuron disease.
It kills motor nerve cells causing muscles to weaken.  The muscles gradually die leaving the patient a prisoner in their own body, unable to move at all.
Keith unknowingly began experiencing symptoms in September 2016.   In March 2017 he was given the diagnosis of ALS (Lou Geurigs disease).   Life expectancy of an ALS patient is 2-5 years.  
There is no cure.   The U.S.  does not approve  stem cell treatments.   Treatments in China does offer some hope.
There is NO time to waste, each day Keith's symptoms  continue to progress .  
Keith will ultimately be in wheel chair without the ability to move anything but his eyes. 
The estimated out of pocket costs caring for an ALS patient is 250,000.00.  
Keith has always been a "giver".  Always kind and helpful.
