Help Keith Hood Fight Liver Cancer

Anyone who grew up in or around Pineville knows Keith Hood. Maybe you grew up together, knew his parents George and Helen, or at one time or another he's fixed something for you around the house. One thing about Keith, anytime someone needed something, he was always there willing to give a hand, especially for the senior citizens around town. No matter what time of the day or night, Keith was the first one there to help. There's not much he wouldn't do or couldn't fix... until now.

On a recent visit to the emergency room, the doctors discovered Keith has liver cancer. He's still waiting on final tests to come back so doctors can determine the best course of treatment, but anytime we hear the word cancer, it's never good. He's facing a tough battle ahead and this time he's having to rely on others to do the fixing. He can't do this alone; he needs us.

As of now, he's not able to work. Being self-employed means not having a company or paid medical leave to fall back on. That means facing financial hardship on top of the emotional and physical stress of treatment. He has insurance, but as most of us know, insurance only goes so far. This is where he needs us most. We want to ease his burden so he can focus on his health and recovery.

EVERY donation will go towards helping cover medical expenses not covered by insurance such as doctor co-pays, prescription costs, special dietary needs, etc, as well as daily living costs and provide him with peace of mind during this challenging time.
