HELP KEITH GET NEEDED CANCER TREATMENT!

Keith Harmon Snow is a devoted father of a vibrant toddler and an award-winning investigative journalist and photographer.  For the past 25 years he has dedicated his life to providing fair and reliable information regarding a wide variety of social, political and environmental issues and to creating a better world for all of us.

Keith is the 2009 Regent's Lecturer in Law & Society at the University of California, Santa Barbara, recognized for over a decade of work documenting war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide, and he is a four-time winner of the Project Censored awards (for his reportage on human rights in Africa).

His legacy of investigative journalism, research, education, photography and hands-on grass-roots activism has profoundly contributed to our collective political awareness and social consciousness.  His countless public presentations at churches, high schools, colleges and universities, and conferences around the world have personally influenced thousands of people.

Keith has also served as a witness and provided expert testimony in numerous U.S. immigration and asylum hearings, before the International Court of Justice (Audiencia Nacionale) in Spain, and at a special Congressional Hearing in Washington D.C.

In 2016 he authored the non-fiction book: "The Worst Interests of the Child: The Trafficking of Children & Families Through U.S. Family Courts".   In July 2016 his documentray photography exhibit "Inside the Company, Down on the Farm " (plantations in the Congo) won an Honorable Mention in the Social Documentary Network Call for Entries on 'The Fine Art of Documentary'.

A motivational speaker, workshop facilitator and certified Holotropic Breathwork facilitator, Keith's passion for helping others is also demonstrated in his commitment to support healing on a very personal level for those who are experiencing physical and emotional challenges.  He understands, first hand, the effects that trauma has on our well being and makes himself readily available to those of us in need.

Keith lives in western MA and is currently co-parenting his 4 year old son, Birch.  In April of 2016 a housefire destroyed the home he had built only a few years earlier.  He supports himself and his family doing tree-work but this work has taken its toll on him physically and it is not a realistic long-tern solution to sustaining his family.

Keith is generous with his time, talents, resources, and skills.  He created a library of important texts in rural Congo (shipping hundreds of top-quality books to a teacher's college there), he has worked as an organic farmer, and he has supported many deserving projects in financial and other ways.

For those of you who may not know, Keith is currently fighting prostate cancer and other serious health issues of uncertain origin.  His community is embracing him to assist in any way we can, to make sure that he has access to the care and treatment that he needs, and that his family is adequately taken care of, as he battles these difficult health challenges.  He means that much to us.

He needs all of us, now, to step up to the plate and give back.  His son needs us to step up to help ensure that his dad will be around for him for many years to come.

Any contribution that you can make to this campaign is greatly appreciated.
