Help Kelli Craig With Her Injuries
Donation protected
Dear All, I write on behalf of one of my dearest and prettiest friends, Kelli Craig. Kelli broke her finger while walking a dog this past November. Kelli had surgery on January 26, 2024, to repair her finger. As if my girl needed another challenge at this time, Kelli has also developed a stress fracture in her right foot along with a corresponding iliotibial band strain in her knee. The pain it brings can turn simple steps into an achy shuffle and Kelli is a seasoned athlete who routinely runs 5Ks, when she is not busy volunteering at soup kitchens for the needy. Needless to say, she is unable to walk on her own for more than a few steps without excruciating pain. As a result, Kelli can only interact with the outside world that she loves so much via a wheelchair. She has been on unpaid leave from work since the beginning of January. Her doctors predict she will not be able to return to work until early May. She has exhausted all of her PTO and her company subsidized health insurance will expire at the end of January. She will have the option to elect COBRA benefits, but the premiums are substantial. On behalf of my dearest friends and compatriots, I humbly ask for your assistance with Kelli’s mounting medical co-pays (she’s under the care of three separate orthopedic and sports medicine doctors), health insurance premiums and day-to-day expenses until she is healthy enough to return to work. Whatever you can donate to my girl will help tremendously. May God bless and keep you in his wake.
