Help Kelly and Anna’s heroes
Donation protected
Kelly & Anna’s Heroes are a group of men from Oxfordshire, who have been raising money for local charities over the last 7 years by cycling various long-distance routes, including Banbury to Blackpool, London to Brighton, Oxford to Paris and Banbury to Lands End! To date Kelly’s Heroes have raised in excess of £46,000 over the years.
This year they are riding from Liverpool Football Club on Thursday 14th September arriving at The Oxford United Football Clubs Kassam Stadium on Saturday 16th September, passing through many football clubs along the way and covering over 300 miles in 3 days which will require a huge amount of effort and determination from the boys!
The charities you are helping Kelly & Anna’s Heroes raise money for are Helen & Douglas House and MNDA Oxford (Motor Neurone Disease Association). Helen & Douglas House is your local children’s hospice and is the world’s first children’s hospice.
Helen & Douglas house hospice improves the lives of local children living with life-shortening and terminal conditions. Your support helps them provide exceptional one-to-one respite and end-of-life care for children and their families at their Oxford hospice, as well as at home and in hospital.
Motor Neurone Disease is a fast progressing disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting. There is no cure! Your support helps MNDA Oxfordshire provide support, equipment, complementary therapies, vehicle and home adaptations or short breaks when needed to people in Oxfordshire with MND and their families whose lives are seriously affected by this devastating condition.
THANK YOU for taking the time to read this and for your support. Every penny really does help both of these charities and we are so grateful!
