Help Kelly and Chuck Gerner After the Eaton Fire

Dear Friends and Family,

My sister's home of 12 years is gone. They are heartbroken—not only for themselves but for their friends and neighbors who have also lost their homes and businesses.

Thankfully, Kelly, Chuck, Hashbrown and Hamhock are safe and staying at our dad’s house as they begin navigating the next chapter of their lives.

If you have suggestions for grants or aid, advice on dealing with insurance or contractors or can contribute a few dollars to help with essentials while they wait for insurance, we would deeply appreciate it.

They plan to rebuild and help their neighbors along the way. Every home on their street was burned. The funds will be used to help rebuild Dabney Street in Altadena, including the community garden across the street and other areas of need in the neighborhood.

We’ve always been the ones asking how we can help others and never imagined being on the receiving end of such kindness.
