Help Kelly and Linda Hudspeth's Medical Expenses

Kelly and Linda Hudspeth are one of the greatest examples of a happy and recently retired couple. Parents to eight children, the Brady Brunch mashup and 17 wonderful grandchildren. They had just completed building their lifelong dream home in Hurricane, Utah and beginning their new and exciting journey when tragedy hit home.  

On December 7th, both Kelly and Linda were admitted to St. George Regional IHC hospital with complications from COVID-19. Linda was hospitalized for three days and sent home on 24 hour oxygen, multiple medications and is slowly recovering. Kelly was admitted to the ICU due to the severity of his illness. It was discovered that he had COVID Pneumonia and is a diabetic. His oxygen level progressively worsened in the night that led to a heart attack.

The doctors had to make the difficult but right decision to intubate Kelly in order to examine the activity in his heart and to keep his oxygen stable. The cathlab staff planned to insert stents in his heart but couldn't because they discovered blood clots on his heart. They attempted to remove the clots manually but were unsuccessful. He is currently sedated for most of the day for comfort and is stable as we wait for blood thinning medications to work. Kelly has a very long and expensive road to recovery ahead. His COVID-19 symptoms are improving but we need to focus on getting his heart healed.
