Help Kelly Bordelon Rachal Fight Ovarian Cancer

Hi my friends and family! A lot of you know that my daughter Kelly is currently fighting stage 3 ovarian cancer. She has been through so much in the last 18 months including multiple surgeries and now chemotherapy & Hormone therapy.

Kelly has not been able to return to her job as a Medical Asst so they are dealing with all the expenses surrounding this illness on only one salary. These medications alone have been unmanageable and there is so much more. After the first chemo treatment her hair which was very long started coming out in huge amounts so she has since been forced to shave her hair. She also would like a nice wig to make her feel a little more like herself. Beyond the medical expenses she is needing help having a child. She was able to save eggs in order to still have a child one day. Recently we have realized due to her type of cancer which affects estrogen and progesterone it would be extremely risky for her to carry a child. The process involved in surrogacy is although possible is very expensive. The doctors are quick to give hope by showing all these available options but forget that most cannot afford it and most insurance does not cover these things. Her and her husband Eric want nothing more than to be loving parents. Thank goodness for that because it is how we found the cancer. I can tell you that getting news like this stopped our world and suddenly nothing else mattered. If you can afford to help with any of her expenses please know how much we appreciate your help. In a time like this money should not be another worry on her plate. She is so strong, she has and will fight so hard to beat this but she is not fighting alone so many of us love and support her.
