Dear friends, family, and compassionate souls,

My name is Kelly, and I am a 45 year old mother of two wonderful children, aged 9 and 12. Today, I find myself in a position I never imagined I would be in and I am asking for your help.

In December, I received the heart breaking news that I have a tumor in my bowel. After further testing, I was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer, which has been classified as wild type and carries the aggressive BRAF gene. This diagnosis has turned my world upside down, and the weight of it all is overwhelming.

What began as some tummy pain in October led to doctor and A&E visits and finally an admission to the hospital on December 19, 2024.

After surgery, I learned that the tumor was too large to remove. I was given an ileostomy and prescribed chemotherapy to shrink the tumor. Thankfully, I was able to go home on the afternoon of Christmas Day to be with my children, but the journey ahead is frightening and upsetting.

The chemotherapy has begun, and I’ve been exploring every possible avenue for treatment. After extensive research and consultations with doctors and oncologists across the globe, I found a glimmer of hope at Hope4Cancer. Their innovative approach offers me the best chance to fight this disease and restore my health.

The challenge is that the cost of this treatment is far beyond what my family can afford. I desperately need your support to make this journey possible. I am reaching out with the hope that, with your support, I can find a path to healing.
