On Thursday, April 24, 2025, our beloved teammate and friend, Kelly Tumlin, experienced the unthinkable — a devastating house fire that completely destroyed her home. While we are deeply grateful that Kelly and her family made it out safely, they have lost everything: cherished memories, treasured belongings, and the place they called home.
In moments like these, we are reminded of the power of community. Now is the time for us to show Kelly that she is not alone — that her UMGC family, friends, and supporters are standing beside her, ready to help her and her family begin the long road to healing and rebuilding.
We’ve launched a fundraising effort to provide Kelly with urgent assistance for essentials like temporary housing, clothing, and the basic necessities needed to move forward. Every donation — big or small — will make a meaningful impact during this incredibly difficult time.
