On Tuesday, June 27, 2023, Kelsay and her two young children experienced a devastating tragedy that has profoundly impacted their lives. Regrettably, Kelsay’s life partner and the children's father and stepfather tragically lost his life, leaving an immense void in their hearts and forever changing their family dynamic.

Kelsay, who is a loving, caring and dedicated mother, has been left to navigate the overwhelming aftermath of this tragedy, while trying to remain strong for her children. The emotional and psychological trauma they have experienced is overwhelming, and the healing process will undoubtedly be long and challenging.

Additionally, Kelsay now faces the daunting task of providing for her family as a single parent. The financial burden that comes with rebuilding their lives, seeking therapy, and ensuring a stable home for Peyton (12), and Braylen (2), is simply overwhelming.
