Help Kelsey and Jake Rebuild after the Altadena Eaton Fire
Donation protected
We’re so sad to report that our friends and fellow Angelenos, Kelsey and Jake, who had just finished moving into their first home on December 28th, tragically lost it to the Eaton Fire on January 7th, less than 2 weeks later. As self-employed artist/designers who worked partly from home, they were only able to grab a few essential items before they had to leave everything else behind and have lost lifelong archives and irreplaceable heirlooms, as well as studio equipment, plants, artwork, and all the things that they had gathered to fill the home they’d dreamed of owning for years.
While they’re devastated to have lost the house, Kelsey & Jake plan to rebuild on the same site near Chaney Trail at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. It’s going to be a long and arduous process, but they believe in the community of Altadena and want to contribute as it finds its footing again in the face of this unimaginable tragedy.
Anything you’re able to offer to them would go a long way as they replenish the items they have lost and start to rebuild their new home. Thank you.
