Help Kelsey & Calder!

My sister, and our dear friend, Kelsey Brown, and her 10-year-old son, Calder, are facing the heartbreaking loss of their home. As a single mother, Kelsey has worked tirelessly to create a stable and loving environment for Calder, and together they established a home filled with cherished memories. Though they have lost their physical possessions, Kelsey finds comfort in knowing that the love they shared in their home remains unshaken. As she puts it, “The heart of our home will always be with the people that filled it...and that heart still beats.”
Now, Kelsey and Calder are faced with this new reality. Though they have lost so much, Kelsey’s strength and determination are unwavering as she works to give Calder a sense of stability and hope for the future. With each step forward, they are reminded of the love and support surrounding them.
The kindness and generosity of their community have been a beacon of hope during this challenging time. Every act of support serves as a reminder that, while they may have lost their home, the heart of it—filled with love—continues to beat in the people who care for them.
They will use these resources to assist them with the immediate essentials and supports needed to move forward. Though the road ahead may be long, they are committed to making their new home just as full of love, hope, and resilience as the one they lost.
*We know a lot of families are dealing with the tragedies of these fires and truly appreciate any assistance. Anything not used will be directed to those in need in their community.
