Help Kelsey Cobb

Please help my former student, Kelsey Cobb a sixth grade student (12), and her family through these difficult times. In August 2014 Kelsey was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After undergoing treatments, in second grade, Kelsey underwent  surgery for brain cancer. Now as a sixth grader,  after follow-up examinations in West Palm Beach, she was recently admitted to ICU at Nemours Hospital in Orlando. During the sixteen days in Nemours Hospital care, she underwent a multitude of tests and relied on a breathing machine and feeding tube. Unable to diagnose her condition, Nemours  transferred Kelsey to ICU at Shands Children's Hospital in Gainesville, Florida in hopes to get a diagnosis and treatment for a rare neurological disease. If you would like to help, your donations would assist with the cost of medical expenses for Kelsey being in ICU for an extended period of time, gas for family to travel from Vero to Gainesville, and hotel expenses for extended periods of visits with Kelsey.
I am Heather Dixon, Kelsey's 5th grade teacher, and this little girl just touched my heart and has gone through so much suffering in her young life! I want to do everything I can to help Kelsey and her family.
