Meet Kenneth George Hiebert, a devoted father, loving grandfather, and hardworking Whitefish, Montana community member. At 66 years old, Ken has spent his life overcoming challenges and building a life rooted in love and support for his family. Born in North Dakota, he moved to Whitefish at three years old, growing up in a humble 300 sq ft home without running water. From age 8, he worked tirelessly—mowing lawns, scraping snow off roofs, and holding various jobs to support his family. In his later years, dedicating his life to the railroad and concrete. He has always been a tremendous force in the fields of labor.
Ken has always put his children first—Jewel, Sierra, Jordan, and Brian—creating a nurturing environment filled with warmth and laughter. He has shown his grandkids—Angel, Carter, Sakoya, Jaxon, Astryd, Brad, and Everett—the meaning of humor and gratitude. He built his current home with his former wife, Julia, from the ground up, transforming it into a sanctuary where his family thrives. His passion for fishing, bowling, watching movies, puzzling, camping, and cooking has brought joy to countless family gatherings.
Sadly, Ken's life took a devastating turn this year when he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that has metastasized to his bones and brain. After enduring debilitating pain and losing a significant amount of weight, his family rushed him to the emergency room, where the heartbreaking news was revealed. This journey has been trying for both Ken and his loved ones, stripping away the activities he once cherished and confining him to bed rest.
As medical bills continue to pile up, the financial burden on his family has become overwhelming. With three kids and two grandkids living in the house, they are doing their best to manage household expenses, but the mounting medical costs are beyond their reach.
Ken's love and kindness have touched many lives. He has always given out help without the need for a request. It is our turn to show Ken the same kind of compassion he has given to so many. This family embodies a spirit of care, support, and joy that anyone who knows them admires. Together, we can help alleviate the financial stress during this challenging time and allow Ken to focus on his health and family.
Please consider donating to help Ken cover his medical expenses and ensure his family can continue to provide the love and support he has always given them. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference.
Thank you for your generosity and support during this difficult time. Let’s rally around Ken and show him the love he has shared with so many.
