Save Face: Life-Saving Surgery for Ken's dog.

This is Face, my neighbor Ken's dog. Two days ago, Face ingested part of a hairbrush, causing an intestinal blockage. Without surgery, Face will die. Ken doesn't have enough money to cover the surgery, and does not qualify for Care Credit as he, like many of us, lives hand to mouth. He is working with staff at PAWS and they can help set up the surgery.... BUT he would have to relinquish Face to the shelter, giving up ownership. I know how much Ken loves Face, whom he's had since Face was a pup, and wanted to see if fellow animal lovers who read this plea might help.
