Help Ken Krekeler Overcome His Medical Crisis

My name is Ken Krekeler, and I’ve been a comic book artist, portrait illustrator, and script writer since 2018. You can Google my name, I’ll come right up.

.On September 26, while trying to fix something just outside the window of my apartment, I slipped and fell three stories to the ground. I’ve been in the hospital since then, and I am pretty desperate.

up until now, I’ve never even broken a bone. After the fall, I found out that I broke both my hips, two of my vertebrae, my entire right arm, (including my hand, which is all messed up, which is really problematic given what I do for a living,) and part of my lung was collapsed. I can’t move at all, let alone walk, I can’t turn around in bed, so I’m basically just staring up at the ceiling all day and slowly going insane.

Originally, this was just going to be some sort of YouTube video to let my friends know what happened to me, as when I was rushed in an ambulance, I didn’t have my phone or anything, and nobody knew where I was for two or three days. But then somebody mentioned that I could try to throw this up as a gofundme, type deal, and sort of kill two birds with one stone, letting people know where I’m at and also essentially asking for help.

The biggest problem right now is that I have never been man of much money in the first place, and while I am stuck in the hospital, the bills back home for rent and electricity and all that stuff need to be paid, and that is becoming a really really big problem really quickly. But even more than that are the medical expenses. I have Medicaid which is to me about $50 a month, but I don’t really have that even in my bank account, and that doesn’t consider the deductible and all that stuff. At this point after just a couple of weeks of being in the hospital, it’s gonna be thousands of dollars that I’ll probably never be able to pay back.

I don’t really expect much out of this campaign, to be honest, but I appreciate you hearing me out and any little amount you might be able to spare would be greatly appreciated. The goal I said was totally arbitrary, I will take whatever I can get from any of the generous souls out there. Thank you.
