Help Kenaz Tynes Battle with Spinal Cord Injury

Donation protected
On January 17th 2021, Kenaz was a passenger in a life changing car accident in Nassau, Bahamas.  He suffered a broken neck bone which lead to a cervical spine fracture dislocation with severe spinal cord injury (ASIA B) that has now left him paralyzed. He was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery the next day to reduce swelling.  Kenaz is in ICU at the hospital and after leaving the hospital he will need to be moved to a Rehabilitation Centre. Major modifications will need to be made to the home to accommodate Kenaz’s injury.

Kenaz is a kind-hearted 19 year old who enjoys taking long walks. Prior to his injury, Kenaz played and made music, and is a talented self-taught guitar player and he also enjoys art and drawing.

Unfortunately Kenaz does not have health insurance so our family will have to pay everything out of pocket, and his recovery will be very long. Kenaz will need costly and intense physical therapy, rehabilitation, and equipment.

We are trying to raise funds to cover the cost of the rehabilitation center and the 24/7 care that he needs. Kenaz will also need medical supplies, including a wheel chair and a specialized bed. All funds raised will assist with his extensive treatment needs.

We would appreciate any assistance helping him reach this goal. He is a very strong and determined young man and with your help he will overcome this.  Thank you for your continuous prayers and support!
