Help Kendal and Spoot Stay Afloat

Hello world,

My name is Kendal, and the floofy one pictured is Spoot. Two years ago we packed up the car and made the 13+ hour drive to our new home in Illinois. My job at the time was gracious enough to allow me to go fully remote so I could relocate. Unfortunately, a few months ago that same job merged with a company that ended up letting our team go. I have been looking for suitable work since sadly to no avail. I was living off of savings, but those are soon going to dry up. A few unforeseen circumstances (flooded basement, faulty AC coils) and medical mishaps (pulled shoulder, hurt hip) have left me in a less than ideal situation.

I, like most folks, do not like asking for help. I know we are all struggling at the moment, but anything is appreciated. My personal belief before was that if I had an abundance I would contribute to those in need whenever I could, and now here I am on the needing end.

My goal here is to garner enough funds to float a couple more months and not lose our house while I continue my job search.

I can offer cat photos (bonus pets to Spoot for every cent) and silly doodles.
