Help Kenisha and Acey'on Heal and Move Forward
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Pateese and I'm hoping to raise funds for my sister Kenisha and my 7-year-old nephew Acey'on. On November 4, my nephew, her eldest son, Kejuan Craig (KJ) tragically passed away at home while sleeping. He was only 17 years old.
Kejuan was a smart and compassionate young man with a kind soul and an infectious smile that brought warmth to everyone around him. He attended Rowe Clark and was an ambitious and social student.
KJ was an avid basketball player who recently made his school's basketball team as a newly transferred senior and was looking forward to graduating high school in the summer of 2025. Upon graduating, he expressed interest in enrolling in college to pursue engineering. We are deeply saddened that he will not be able to fulfill his goals and reach his full potential.
KJ's sudden passing has rocked our family to the core. He was everyone's child, a true embodiment of being raised by a village. Whether we were buying a pair of basketball shoes for his upcoming season, ensuring he made it on family trips, or even sending him money for his many DoorDash and Uber requests, we all had a loving hand in his life. Although we are all having a hard time accepting our new reality, my dear sister's pain is unfathomable.
I am starting this fundraiser on Kenisha's behalf because she will need financial help after we say our goodbyes. She will need money to move out of the place that is now a source of unrelenting pain, funds to cover her financial needs while away from work, and expenses to cover any random needs that arise for Ace.
Most importantly, Kenisha and Ace will need family counseling to begin their healing process due to losing a prominent piece of their family unit.
Thank you for taking the time to read about Kenisha's situation. We appreciate any donations you can send and please share this fundraiser with others. Peace and love, Pateese
