Hello, everyone. I’m reaching out in a time of deep need for my family and me. Our property has been completely submerged underwater for weeks, and we are facing unimaginable challenges as we navigate this crisis.

The loss of our personal belongings is overwhelming—an estimated $50,000 worth of items are gone. Additionally, my wife’s truck has been totaled, leaving us without reliable transportation to care for our five-year-old son.

Every day is a struggle, but we try to remain grateful for what we do have. The water levels have not receded, making even simple tasks like getting to our vehicle a significant challenge. We have to use a John boat just to access it, as our driveway is impassable.

We reached out for assistance, but unfortunately, emergency services declined to come onto our property, citing safety concerns with the flooding. Our insurance has been unhelpful as well, claiming that because we weren’t in a designated flood zone, we are not covered—even though our entire area is underwater.
