Help Kent and Kimberly Overcome Medical Crisis

Hi, we are doing a fundraiser for Kent and Kimberly Lanier due to medical complications. Kent has been in the hospital for 35 days and counting. He has gone through a lot of medical issues. He came in the hospital on March 18, 2024, due to chest pain, nausea and shortness of breath. He has had to receive a quadruple bypass and developed complications of swelling all over his body after CABG was completed. He has been on 11 liters of oxygen just to take a breath and also has to use a bi-pap machine. He is having lots of tests; procedures and they have tried lots of medications to give him relief. He continues to swell all over his body and has fluid filling both lungs. They have done procedures to remove the fluid, but his lungs just fill back up again. On April 18th they completed a Cardiac Catheterization, however there were complications and part of the equipment broke off in the femoral artery. So, on April 19th he was taken back into surgery to locate the foreign object and remove it from the artery. Now Kent is in a lot of pain and is continuing is swell with fluids again. During the surgery he was also diagnosed with Pulmonary Artery Hypertension which is going to require additional and future treatments/care due to this diagnosis doesn't have a cure. Kent will need a recliner or a bed that rises up as he can no longer lay flat due to the Pulmonary Artery Hypertension. He will also be put on lots of new medications and require oxygen 24/7. Due to us both being on disability affording all these things plus the hospital bills is going to be a really big financial burden. While we are not ones to ask for help, we aren't sure what else to do. Our daughter Kassidy and her husband Daniel help us as much as they can. But they have 4 kids to worry about also. We are very worried about what the future will look like for him as he already has so many medical issues and now has another uncurable diagnosis.
