Help Kent Restart after Marshall Fire
Donation protected
Hi everyone. My boyfriend, Kent Ritchie, along with his two roommates lost their home and all possessions in the Marshall Wildfire on December 30, 2021. Their home was one of >500 homes destroyed and lost to the record-breaking wildfire. Kent lived in the Sagamore neighborhood in Superior, CO which was on the frontline of the fire.
Kent was at home the morning of the fire and described the experience as smelling something burning and within 4 minutes evacuated the house and was driving through the smoke. He was able to alert his other roommate that was home but was not able to grab any possessions, documents, or personal items. He fled the neighborhood with his truck and the random items that were inside that truck. He left behind family heirlooms, firearms, home powerlifting gym, mountain bikes, complete Milwaukee garage shop, and all outdoor (camping, climbing, hiking, etc.) gear. While he escaped with the most valuable item, his life, he needs your help now in supporting him to rebuild his life and get access to support.
Any amount you are able to donate to Kent, other local GoFund me pages, or the community is greatly appreciated and goes a very long way for families that have nothing.
We are very thankful for his safety and the safety of the community.
