Help Kepler the rabbit with surgery for tumor removal
Donation protected
Hello friends, family and kind strangers who care about animal & pet health!
My name is Heather and I've created this account to raise funds for my free roam pet Rabbit Kepler.
Kepler has a tumor growing over his teeth and will require surgery on October 3rd 2024.
It is estimated the cost will be somewhere around 900ish dollars. Please view photos for cost of breakdown for his procedure. I will be putting as much of the cost as I can on my Care credit card, however I could use a lil help if any kind people could contribute any amount at all, there is no amount too small and myself & Kepler would greatly appreciate any contribution if you find yourself available to donate.
Kepler has had multiple visits to the vet this year (2024) to combat a leaking eye. Despite 3 separate treatments, none have been successful. However at his vet visit on 9/17/24 it was discovered that he had a tumor growing (fast) that was not visible at his last vet apt that was less than a month ago. His vet Dr. Zacharias at Galloway Station vet clinic in Springfield MO, stated she suspected the tumor was too small to be seen before and is likely the cause of his leaking eye as well. He will need surgery to remove the tumor and a tooth or two, as well as pathology blood work done.
Kepler has had a bit of a rough patch in his bunny life! I adopted him from an animal Shelter back in 2021, before that he was found outside roaming the streets of Springfield and then spent 6 months in the shelter before I adopted him.
Despite all his obstacles, he remains the sweetest lil guy & I adore him so much! He is an inside free roam bunny & is treated like a king! Kepler is expected to be 5 or 6 years old and if we can get this surgery done successfully, he has a good chance of living another 5 to 6 years! It would mean so much to us to have your support if you are able. We understand that times are tough and money seems to be more difficult to come by this day in age, so no pressure here. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out, or if you require legitimacy of my request for this fund raiser , please feel free to call his vet clinic listed "Galloway Station Veterinary hospital" in Springfield MO. ALL proceeds will go towards Kepler's surgery. I appreciate you for taking the time to consider my precious rabbit. Pets are important and deserve nothing but the best of care of course!
I'm not always the best at asking for help, but this is for my sweet innocent rabbit and I'll do anything for him.
