Help Marga & Kerwin Heal After Crash

Hello everyone, my name is Kerwin and upon driving Saturday 1/18 on my way home my girlfriend Marga and I experienced a multi car crash on the far left side of the freeway around 2:30am . We stopped on the freeway due to cars in front of us that had collided into each other from a previous crash. The driver behind us rear ended us and was believed to be under the influence and intoxicated with alcohol. We were safely in our cars from the first hit, after sometime I went out of my vehicle to speak to the person that hit us and the car in front of me who I was rammed into. Sadly another car was unaware and crashed into the car that was still collided into mine which sent me flying and tumbling onto the highway, while Marga was in our vehicle looking for my phone. This led to 6 vehicles being in the crash. I had to crawl back to safety, once I heard the last person who hit us was stuck and bleeding in her car to the point she couldn’t walk, a good samaritan and I were able to carry her out onto safety. I was able to exchange information with one driver I was rammed into, sadly the person who hit us needed medical attention due to being under the influence and I was unable to exchange information with them or the other person who crashed into them due to them needing dire medical attention. The police arrived and took everyone’s statement as well as EMS to tend to those in need of medical attention.

We’ve gone to a hospital to examine our injuries via X-ray and CT scans. Thankfully nothing is broken or fractured, but sadly suffer from pain and limited mobility requiring us to need physical therapy. Marga suffers from neck and back pain to the point she needs to turn her whole body to look a certain direction and can’t lift her head up and down and feels pain lifting her arms. I’m facing similar problems such as upper/ lower back pain, unable to lift my left my left shoulder without experiencing pain, and limping heavily on my right leg. We both struggle to do normal every day tasks such as putting on a shirt or using the bathroom even with aid from each other.

We only ask for a share of this link and beyond grateful for any donations for both of us being unable to work for the time being. We understand times are tough and hope to not ask for too much. Sadly, being able to only afford liability insurance for my vehicle does not cover the cost of damages and to replace it. Since we share the vehicle this makes it harder for us to make it to our physical therapy appointments and make a living for when we recover. Donations will also help us with medical coverages, attorney fees, monthly bills, food, and transportation expenses for physical therapy.
