Remembering Keval Kukadiya: Honoring a Courageous
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Supporters,
It is with a profound sense of sorrow that I convey the arduous journey of our dear friend, Keval Kukadiya.
This grievous saga commenced with a gladder infection, requiring him to seek hospitalization on October 22. Regrettably, due to the unavailability of beds, he was sent home on the same day. As his health deteriorated, by October 24th, he found himself unable to lift his body and exhibiting alarming signs of mental distress.
Furthermore, on October 24, Keval's demeanor underwent an abrupt change. Immediately rushed to Sault Ste Marie General Hospital, he succumbed to unconsciousness within hours. Despite the relentless efforts of medical professionals, Keval's condition worsened, culminating in a diagnosis of global cerebral ischemia. After weeks of agonizing uncertainty, we received the heart-wrenching news of Keval's passing on November 17, 2023.
In tribute to his memory, funds raised will be dedicated to honoring Keval's legacy, overseen by his Sister Pooja Kukadiya , friends and roomates Vedant Patel and Paras Vyas. Keval, an international student without medical insurance, has left behind substantial medical bills. His family in India, already stretched thin, is now grappling with profound financial distress.
Compounding their challenges, Keval completed his graduation in September 2023 and obtained his work permit a mere week before being admitted to the hospital, leaving him without insurance coverage. The financial strain on his family is beyond comprehension.
We fervently appeal for your support. Your contribution, irrespective of its size, carries significant weight. Donations will alleviate the burden of medical expenses, potential end-of-life care, and various other costs. For those unable to contribute financially, sharing this link and keeping Keval in your thoughts are equally cherished.
Your support, in any form, is immeasurable. Thank you for being a vital part of preserving Keval's enduring legacy.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Vedant Patel and Paras Vyas
