Help Kevin Connors with Metastatic Melanoma

My name is Stephanie Connors. Kevin is my beloved husband, the love of my life, and our family hero. Many of you know our story. 

Kevin and I met in 1996. We shared a beautiful romance for several years, raising my son together, enjoying life and each other. Then, life took us different directions for a while until we reconnected in 2013. With my son and daughter by my side, we married on 3/14/2014.This March we will celebrate our 10-year anniversary.

Kevin has loved us fiercely and provided sacrificially from day one. He works tirelessly, giving without restraint. His family is his world. Being a stepparent is not for everyone, but it is Kevin's gift.

I need your help. Kevin was diagnosed with malignant melanoma in his ear canal.The operation needs to take place very place soon. Although we are insured, the out-of-pocket expense is massive. 

The surgery will be 8+ hours long and require two surgeons. Daily radiation for 5 weeks to follow, and then possibly chemotherapy. 

The surgery is very invasive because the tumors have grown into Kevin’s temporal bone. The cancer is also in six lymph nodes in his head and neck.The surgery requires the removal of the tumors, the surrounding tissue, six lymph nodes and shaving his temporal bone. It is also risky as the facial nerve needs to be moved to perform the operation. He will also have permanent hearing loss in that ear.
