Help Kevin Gourley Photography During COVID Crisis
Donation protected
I never dreamed I would ask for help like this, but this ongoing COVID-19 crisis has had a severe impact on my business which includes studio photography and a wide range of classes. Honestly, my small business really needs your help.
My intent is to survive through this crisis because I have always seen my "mission" as more than “photography.” Yes, photography is central to my business, but throughout the life of my business I have supported our local community in many ways, organizing different community-wide photography groups, and serving numerous nonprofit organizations free of charge through donating my services or classes. I also use my studio on Monday nights as a free gift to the community as a place to connect with others in a group called “LifeInsights.” It’s another small way of “loving my neighbors.”

In the midst of this ordeal, I have had to cancel and reschedule with clients, turn down business, a photography retreat was cancelled, and my studio is basically shut down for an extended period of time, but my business expenses remain constant for a space I can’t even use due to the current “non-essential” business restrictions, “stay at home” orders, and expected continued “social distancing.”
If there is ever a time I should ask for help, it is now, especially since GoFundMe is offering Small Business Relief Fund grants that match up to $500 for the total funds raised. To many $500 isn't a lot, but to our small businesses it would help tremendously. Funds will be used to help keep the business afloat, pay for essential business needs and help us get through this hard time.
I realize many of you are also facing tremendous financial challenges. I am only asking if you might be in a position to help at all. We’ll get through this together.
I am most sincerely grateful for any help you can provide,
Kevin Gourley
