Help Kevin Overcome His Medical Setback

My name is Melissa and the picture you see is my husband, Kevin. Kevin has been in the plumbing industry for over 35 years and two years ago, at the age of 58, I convinced him to start his own business. (That’s when Plumbed2Perfection was born) After working for large companies, he consistently mentioned how frustrated he was with the amount of money they charged customers and the level of service he was “allowed” to provide. He wanted better for each one, so he went on his own. A new business is always, financially, a struggle the first few years but with some minor setbacks (a major surgery at month 7), he has powered through with 99% five-star reviews! (the 1% was merely a scheduling issue). He provides an excellent service, at a fair price while making sure he also makes EVERY customer laugh (a few times) before he leaves.

Finally….to the reason for this page. On the 4th of July, Kevin had an accident at home (not celebratory related) that has required four days in the hospital, two ambulance rides (one was a transfer to a trauma center), multiple broken ribs and two spinous process fractures. Needless to say, he will not be able to work for some time. This page is being set up to allow him to rest and heal. We all know how difficult it is to start and maintain a new business but to do that with mounting medical and rehab bills is literally impossible with the cost of healthcare today.
