Help Kevin Recover from a Hit & Run

Kevin Matthies, our best friend for over 15 years and the godfather to our daughter; was the victim of a violent Hit & Run.

After spending days at our place taking care of our farm while we were on Vacation, it's being reported that Kevin was maliciously targeted by a driver in an SUV on the same night he went home. He was out walking his dog Tyr on Mary St. in Orillia near his residence when he was tragically struck, barely saving his dog in the process. He's currently being sent to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto for surgery.

He's suffering from multiple fractures to his pelvis and lower spine and will be unable to care for his family while he recovers. We ask that anyone and everyone who has been touched in their heart by the joy of this wonderful human being contribute all that they can to show their support. He's been there for so many people and is such a giving soul, I pray that creating this GoFundMe gives some kind of assistance and hope to Kevin and his family in this dark time.
