Surgery For Kezia Nixon
Donation protected

This 28 year old Belizean mom's name is Kezia Nixon, and she in desperate need of help.
In December 2020, she received devastating news about her health. After going to her doctor regularly for yearly checkups, her doctor diagnosed her with a uterine fibroid the size of an 18 week fetus.
Kezia’s doctor (Dr. Anna Coen) has no idea how they could have missed one this size. More than likely, the doctor's did not miss it, and Kezia's imbalance is just growing at a very fast rate.
The fast rate of growth is causing her a lot of discomfort, as it would anyone in this situation. In addition, Kezia is anemic, and has low blood volume.
Her patient's report form reads: "Mrs. Nixon suffers from a medical condition that requires urgent treatment to avoid permanent organ damage. In the new of her age, organ personing treatment is recommended which is only available in the United States of America".
This same note was used to try and help Kezia avoid surgery and shrink the tumor by participating in alternative therapies in the United States. Despite this emergency, she was denied a travel VISA.
The pressure from the large fibroid pressing on her internal organs is building, and she has developed swelling in one of her kidneys (hydronephrosis). If it continues to grow at this rate, it will start to affect her spine, and many other bodily systems that could permanently alter the way her body functions overall.
Often times, people in third world countries die due to lack of money to care for the health situations they encounter. At this point of her condition, Kezia is in a financial crisis. With difficulty, she has managed to save 2,000.00 BZ (1,000.00 US).
Financial assistance from the Belize government is non-existent for her. Therefore, Kezia and her immediate family humbly asks for any and all assistance in paying for the surgery she urgently needs. In her country $1.00 U.S. dollar will amount to $2.00 B.Z. dollars due to the exchange rate, so no amount is too small.
When it is available to them, all kids need their parents, and the goal of this campaign is to keep Kezia alive for hers.
